In order to go to that next level in school and to go to greater heights in scholastics you need to make the best grades and apply yourself in the best way possible. Scholastics aren't everything, but if you want to get into a good college and have a great career in a higher education field then you need to do make sure you do well in academics.

First step, Find a place where you can focus.

Find a place where you can have the most tranquility to focus, unless you focus better in a noise filled environment(which a lot of people do). So the best thing to do first is to find the right environment where you can focus.

Second step, Use your time wisely.

Make sure that you're doing your part and not wasting time. What I mean by that is using your time wisely and not using all your time to hang out, socialize, and watch tv. If you want to make good grades and want to know your material then you have to study. Unless you already got it down. you have to make time. You might say that you have no time to do that, but trust me you have time. There is always time you just have to be willing to realize that there is time and willing to make it.

You need to have the tenacity and will to want to do well in school. You have to want good grades. You have to see yourself with good grades. You have to hang around people that aren't going to be getting you in trouble all the time. You have to be hanging around with people that want to see you do well and are doing well with themselves. Surround yourself with positive people. Have the determination to do well and go far in life and make a good living for yourself. You can do it!
